Client bank account

A Calmony Client Bank Accounts are facilitated through Griffin,  are specifically designed for letting and managing agents including block management and right to manage (RTM) agents.

The account is in your company name with full online access to manage your account, request and make payments.  Calmony provides all the familiar features of a high street bank account with online payment services and bulk faster/BACS payments all included.

The opening of these accounts is directly between the property agents and Griffin, with Calmony providing state-of-the-art online banking technology to manage access and facilitate transactions.

Deposits

Tenant deposits can be held in the Calmony client bank account providing you are registered with an approved insured deposit protection scheme. Or, you can set up a separate designated Calmony deposit account for no additional cost.

As Calmony is not a bank, no interest is earned on monies held in a Calmony client bank account provided by Griffin.

Block Management Accounts

Block management accounts which are also known as service charge accounts or freeholder accounts.  They act similarly to client accounts as they are ring-fenced designated accounts.

The difference with Calmony accounts is that we can make sure you can open accounts quickly and easily.  In fact we’ll make sure you have 10 spare accounts so that as soon as you are instructed on a new block you have an account ready to go.

Build-to-Rent Client Accounts

Client accounts are crucial for Build-to-Rent companies to ensure that tenant deposits and rent payments are separated from the company’s operating funds. This segregation is important to comply with legal requirements, such as those outlined by the Tenant Deposit Protection Scheme.

Business Accounts

We currently offer business accounts with faster payment services.

Currently we do not offer direct debits or standing orders on these accounts but these will be coming soon.
